The Chuting Eagles gathered in Millinocket to practice their crowd pleasing routine - and it worked! Half the town gathered to watch in awe as the boys demonstrated their amazing skills. Ray G. took the footage above.

Testing a New Chute in Presque Isle

Many thanks to Gary L. for sending these recent pictures for the blog. He wrote: We tested Paul’s new chute for the first time Tuesday. Flew great and VERY colorful. Second picture shows our own northern version of the Chuting Eagles. Think calm skies. We second that Gary!!

Also, keep your eye out for the latest edition of the MPA Newsletter - we just mailed it out to all paying members. So if you've paid and haven't received the newsletter in a few days, let us know!

Impromptu Para-Waiting at Bethel

Some MPA members got together for what looked like a promising evening of flying at the Bethel Airport... only to end up "Para-Waiting" due to shifty and gusty winds. Ray G. & Randy A. managed to work in a short flight but ultimately found the ground far more enjoyable.

Dirk M. passes the time by taking his old plane for a spin around the airport.

Ray G. comes in for a landing as the rest of the crew taxis back in formation (they had to do something to impress the locals).

Congratulations to Scott R. on his new plane!
