What to do with your PPC in the fall

While most owners prefer to start up the engine just to go flying, Robin decided to try multi-tasking… and it worked! Introducing the new way to clean up those autumn leaves!

Presque Isle Fly-In Snowed Out!

Unfortunately the weather never cooperated for the Presque Isle fly-in - somehow a combination of wind, rain and snow never offered the right conditions for this sport. Next year we'll hope for calm skies!

We hope to see you all at the MPA Christmas party on December 12th. Like last year, we are aiming to have it at the Oriental Jade in Bangor. Stay tuned for further details as we get closer to the date.

Local conditions at Presque Isle... isn't it a little too early for snow??

Bethel Fly-In

A quick look at Bethel a couple days before the fly-in...

Boy was it cold at the last MPA fly-in for 2009! That didn't stop the guys from taking to the sky for several scenic flights. While they were virtually unrecognizable under so many layers of winter clothing, they managed to stay nice and warm.

Thankfully Kevin took his hat off for the photo - otherwise we wouldn't be able to see him in the camouflage suit!

As always, the beautiful scenery at Bethel Airport provided breathtaking sunsets.
